What verification means on Aussies After Dark
Every advertiser is checked before their listing goes live. The badges on a profile say exactly what was checked and nothing more.
- Identity verified
- The advertiser sent us government photo ID and a photo of themselves holding a unique code we generated for them, following a randomly chosen instruction. Our staff compared the two. Verification is repeated periodically; the date shown is the most recent approval.
- Photos verified
- The verified person also completed a photo check: their challenge photo was compared with the photos in their public gallery.
- Verified business Listed by verified establishment
- An establishment provided business registration or ABN evidence and photo ID of the account holder. People listed on that establishment's roster inherit this badge; it does not mean they completed individual identity verification unless their profile also says so.
- Ownership verified (on a link)
- We confirmed that the linked social or platform account belongs to the advertiser — for example through a code posted on that account. The badge sits on the specific link it applies to.
What we do not verify
Aussies After Dark sells advertising. We do not arrange, attend or confirm bookings, and we cannot verify services, prices, availability claims or transactions between advertisers and visitors. Contact details are provided by the advertiser.
